Me Félix Desbiens-Gravel

Me Félix Desbiens-Gravel joined Ravinsky Ryan Lemoine in August 2023 as a lawyer and currently works within the tax litigation group under the supervision of Mr. Paul Ryan.

He began his legal career with the Department of Justice of Canada, where he represented the interests of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Tax Court of Canada, and the Federal Court. Drawing upon this experience, he now applies his knowledge of the tax system to advocate for taxpayers’ rights in dealings with tax authorities, from the audit phase to the litigation procedure, covering both corporate and personal income tax matters, as well as GST, QST.

On the academic front, Me Desbiens-Gravel has consistently excelled. During his legal studies, he earned several distinctions, including the Sean Finn Scholarship, and graduated with honors on the dean’s list. His first year in actuarial science saw him successfully pass two exams administered by the Society of Actuaries and receive the Morneau Shepell Excellence Scholarship. His passion for taxation led him to HEC Montréal, where he completed a Master’s degree in Taxation.

Active in the tax community, Me Desbiens-Gravel is involved in the committee of the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF), organizing conferences, reviewing publications for the Canadian Tax Focus, and fostering networking among peers.

Olivier Custeau

Olivier Custeau is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in business administration (B.B.A) from Université Laval and a master’s degree in taxation (M. Fisc.) from the Université de Sherbrooke and has developed expertise in American and international taxation by working in a renowned firm. Over the years, he has developed a keen interest in US taxation. In fact, he was awarded Enrolled Agent status in 2019, the highest level a professional can attain to represent clients to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
