How are you protecting my data?
Ensuring your privacy is critical to us, and here’s what we’re doing to build and keep your trust:
Cases
All messages, documents, and case information that you enter through Leya are encrypted — both in transit and when stored on our servers. Only you and the Leya Chat assistant, and (upon your consent) your matched legal professional will have access to your messages and documents.
We use Calendly to facilitate call booking. Through that application, there will be a log of appointments scheduled, but no details about the nature of the conversation will be part of that record.
Employer
Your employer will never have access to your Chats, documents, or identifiable history through the app. They will not have access to your personal browsing history, or Virtual Consult history.
We may periodically provide your employer with a general usage report, anonymously demonstrating aggregate statistics about user behaviors. We must be able to demonstrate the benefits of the Leya platform, and we will do so without exposing any personally identifiable information.
Web and event tracking
We use Google Analytics to capture statistics about usage on the platform. We use this information to improve our platform and services. In addition, we may count event attendance and other marketing efforts, to help us again contour the product to serve your needs best.
